Wycombe Mind
- Wycombe Mind Recovery Centre, 16 - 18 Easton Street
Profile
Wycombe Mind was formed in 1988 as a group of people involved with mental health services, either as service users or as health professionals. The organisation registered as a charity in 1991.
The vision was and continues to be to support and empower people experiencing severe and enduring mental health problems.
Since then, we have supported thousands of people in the area and have helped many on their journey to recovery from mental distress.
Every member of our team works to provide a professional person-centred service for members of Wycombe Mind and ensure that the services they provide are recovery orientated and cultivate positive opportunities for everyone.
We are proud to have been recognised as an exemplar local Mind branch for promoting equality and diversity.
Our Services
When we are distressed or struggling with our mental health, it can be challenging to know what support will benefit us the most on our road to recovery.
At Wycombe Mind, we will endeavour to find you the best support appropriate to you and your situation, which may or may not involve our services. Our focus at Wycombe Mind is on peer support; we do not provide counselling or talk-therapies.
We provide support to those in the Wycombe area, including High Wycombe, Marlow and Princes Risborough. Please take a look at our Help and Advice page to find other services that may be of interest to you.
In order to access most of our day service sessions, you will need to be referred to us by The Adult MH Team. Please call us on 01494 448279 or email us to find out more.
