Becoming a student at the Recovery College Cornwall
It is easy to enrol with Recovery College Cornwall. If you are experiencing challenges with your mental health and would like to learn more about how to understand and overcome these challenges, then our courses can help.
At Recovery College Cornwall, we believe the lasting solution to managing your mental health and moving towards a happier, healthier future lies in taking control of your own mental health, understanding your own challenges and developing recovery tools that work for you.
After enrolment with the Recovery College Cornwall
Take a look at the courses on offer and if you like what you see, click on our enrol link, and someone will contact you. Once we receive your enrolment, we will contact you to discuss what is on offer and how we can support you to get the most from our courses.
The support we can offer
Some people may need support to attend our courses, and we have Learning Support Workers who will be able to help you to pick the right courses for you and work with you to make sure you get the most from what is on offer. We understand that the courses may bring up issues for people, and our staff will be here to support you and signpost you to further support if needed.
What we expect from students
All our courses are in small groups, usually of less than ten. Classes need to be a safe space for everyone, and we expect all students to be respectful of each other. All courses start with a set of ground rules, written and agreed upon by the class. To receive a graduation certificate from Cornwall Recovery College, we expect students to attend at least 80% of the courses they have enrolled on.
